The current condition of pump machinery: the heart of industry is in danger
In the period of highly development of information technology, pump can not be counted as high-tech product, but it still plays an important part in the development of gross national economy, and it is widely used in resource, aviation, aerospace, steel, military industry which is related to the safety and economy of China. People called pump as the heart of industry, exactly it is true. As a country which is a big manufacturing one, a country famous for its large pump market, what is the gap between the current condition and future of our country’s pump industry and foreign countries’? what aspects of pump industry do we have the chance to focus and improve?
1, our country’s pump industry lacks of innovation ability in technology.
After the foundation of new people’s republic of China, the pump industry has been developed for fifty years. Although we are frustrated sometimes by the technology in the process of development, in the meanwhile, we achieve great success, cultivate a lot of experts on water pump. After China open and reform, a lot of advanced technology has been introduced into domestic market, more and more companies form the direction of introducing technology abroad, although China encourages companies to introduce, absorb, innovate technology, but actually, few countries absorb technology from foreign countries, we are still in the stage of imitating foreign technology, so we should break the routine, and be eager to develop our own technology.
2, our country is short in having companies which are competitive.
First we lack of elites and technology in nation-owned companies, a lot of working garages is abandoned, under the circumstance of market-oriented economy, with more and more foreign enterprises enter domestic market, most of them are acquired and run into bankruptcy. High-end pump products which is related to the safety of nation is monopolized by foreign pump industry.
3, we lack of technician, with the retirement of technician which is graduated in 1950s and 1960s, a lot of college students can’t replace the position of the older one, and a lot of foreign countries’ human resource department employ people with high salary, which make our country’s technician run into foreign enterprises.
